FCC Arts Camp 2012 (Below)
There are many ways to explore the Christian faith. In our contemporary world there are so many resources and topics available that can help us explore Christianity. Our challenge is to match the available resources with the hunger of our gathered community. To this end we have gathered information from adults who attend Foothills Congregational Church, seeking to understand the ways in which we engage with spirituality, the things that give our lives meaning, and the experiences we hunger for.
We found five overarching topics come up again and again, experiences we have had, ways of being in the world, that feed our spirits. Please enjoy exploring these topics. On this site you will find links to places where you can get more information about each topic, events, groups, books, retreats, and places where you can connect with others who are curious or passionate about the same topic.
Nature and an Active Life
Bible Study and Theology
Faith Practices

There is also a page to connect you to In-Person Events.
There is a discussion forum where you can pose or answer questions on our topics. There is also an archive page for each topic where we move links when we replace them on the main page. Click here for the BIBLE BOOT CAMP archive page.
Foothills Congregational Church
is an Open and Affirming member of the United Church of Christ.
No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here!
We are an Open and Affirming and Progressive Christian church, as expressed in our Vision Statement.
* We follow the example of Jesus, while believing that there are many paths to God.
* We are a "thinking church" where individual beliefs are respected.
* Sermons challenge us to explore and develop our own theology.
As a member of the United Church of Christ, we believe that God is still speaking, and that we must keep listening to the ways God is revealed in our time.
We emphasize Outreach support to families and children in our local area by gifts of both dollars and volunteer time.
We value a strong Christian Education program for all ages.
We enjoy excellent and varied music that enriches our Sunday services.
Our congregational self-governance and moderate size create a close-knit, caring community.
